In 2013, Rishi was riding with his colleague from Leh to Pangong Tso wher they met with an accident. A car suddenly crashed into them, Rishi ruptured the ligament in his right shoulder and his friend hurt his back. They took a painkiller and rode in the ice-cold water and the pain they felt was unbearable. Their boots were filled with cold water but they braved through and reached the city at 9pm. Rishi learned a very important lesson “ “When times are tough, that’s when your character is really tested, you can either give up or gather all your courage and keep pushing through. You will definitely reach your destination. Never quit, keep moving forward”.
