I am a 52 year old rebound biker. In my 20’s I was a dirt biker and stunt rider. I am Andhra Pradesh’s first independent motorbike lady and have signed up for cancer awareness as a Pinkathon Ambassador and for girl education in about 30k riding across the country. Have given a few talks to energize the youth to follow their passion and adhere certain rules and regulations.
Numerous eminent clubs and boards of trustees have congratulated me for my social work. I’ve been granted the “Sangamitra award “. To me Motor biking is like meditation, and my happiest place. Multiple fractures on my left lower leg and medical problems couldn’t deflect my energy to ride again. I’ve encouraged women and have also formed a 10 member women rider’s team in my city.
I am a core member of WIMA India and also one of the members of the International WRWR group.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get any sponsorship for my rides throughout my journey which made me auction my assets for my love for riding and sharing experiences. My sole mission for riding is to break down Gender stereotype associated with riding and to bring about a change. I wish to ride till my last breath.
