Hello everyone! I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession and Biker by passion. I am a Vintage Motorcycle collector and a Traveler. My passion for bikes started when I was 13 and my dad had a Yamaha Rx100. Because of being short heighted, I couldn’t balance the bike on ground. I use wear my sister’s heels to adjust the height!! Now I own Yezdi and Jawa collections and Yamaha Rx series.
I did my first solo ride to Goa when I was 18 years and was the youngest of all motorcyclists. In 2018, I met with a major accident. I was on ride from Pune to Chennai and I was hit by a truck on my way. The driver was drunk; I was thrown from my bike and fell into fields of Tumkur Highway. I had severe ligament tear in my neck and six fractures in my right leg. All I was informed was not to ride for eight months and to be bedridden. It was just 2 months since the accident occurred and I couldn’t lay on my bed anymore. I read an article that a rider from USA had completed 1000miles in 24 hours. I was very much interested and thought that I must take up the ride. I planned for a month, till then I almost recovered from the accident. Initially my family resisted for it was my longest distance ride. But seeing me planning for it they fully supported me.
On 27th November 2019, I did my longest distance ride in 24hours on my Royal Enfield Himalayan BS4. I started from Ranipet then to Tamilnadu and reached Pune via Bengaluru and way back to Bengaluru covering 1647kms in 23hours 10minutes. On 26th Dec 2019, I was been awarded as the “Youngest rider to complete longest distance on motorcycle” by INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS (IBR).
I thank my family and my Biking community for being my backbone supporting me in all circumstances. Cheers all! Spreading biking brotherhood wherever we go!
